Founder’s letter
When I founded my company in April 2019, I did so with a very simple aim — to run a property business properly.
At the time, the industry felt increasingly impersonal. Landlords were often treated as account numbers, and tenants as problems to manage rather than people to support.
I believed there was a better way: disciplined, professional property management delivered with accountability and humanity.
But businesses, like people, evolve..

As my experience deepened, so did my perspective on what truly matters in property management.
The industry moves quickly, but the best decisions rarely come from rushing. They come from observing carefully, thinking strategically, and acting at the right moment.
That philosophy is what led to the creation of Black Owl Property…
…from stillness comes inspiration.
The inspiration behind the name came during the early mornings after I moved to Knutsford. On my short 4am drive to the gym, the roads were quiet and the world felt still. More than once, an owl would appear ahead of me, gliding silently across the road.
At first it was simply a beautiful moment in the stillness of the morning.
But as it happened again and again, it began to feel symbolic.

For centuries, the owl has represented wisdom, patience, and quiet observation — qualities that sit at the heart of how I approach property management today.
Black Owl Property represents the next chapter of the business: a more intentional approach to curated lettings and property management, where every property, every landlord relationship, and every decision is handled with thought and care.
